Healthcare Service Partners, Inc. (HSP) is a company which provides APPs specializing in surgery. These specially trained and highly experienced APPs may be requested to assist your surgeon during your surgical procedure.  Services provided will be billed to your insurance.

 

During your encounter, you will receive services from many different providers representing the various aspects of your care.   After your surgery, you can expect to receive an insurance document called an Explanation of Benefits (EOB).  This is not a bill.  The amounts listed are usually not the amount of your financial responsibility.  If requested by the insurance company we will send a billing statement for applicable co-pays, co-insurance, and/or deductibles.  In addition to our billing statement, you may also receive statements from the facility, surgeon, anesthesia, pathology, etc.  Each entity will provide contact information on their documents. If your insurance provider lists our services as “out of network” for services provided by your “in-network” physician, please contact your insurance carrier directly.  HSP has worked diligently to create agreements with each insurance provider, however, some insurance companies refuse to participate in this partnership which would provide you with discounted, “in-network” rates.  If your claim is denied, HSP will automatically file an appeal on your behalf.  If no payment is offered or you do not have insurance HSP will work directly with you and can offer a payment plan if you are experiencing financial hardship.
