Allied Provider

Allied Provider consists of two medical staffing  companies, Healthcare Service Partners, Inc. and Physician Assistant Specialists-California, Inc. Both companies supply Advanced Practice Providers (APP) to hospitals located across Southern Orange County. Many surgical procedures require an assistant, which can be another physician, a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).  Collectively PAs and NPs are labeled midlevel practitioners or APPS.  APPs are specially trained and licensed medical professionals who work closely with physicians.  Their training is very similar to a condensed medical school like those attended by physicians.  Additionally, APPs complete clinical rotations studying all aspects of medicine and filling roles in many specialties by evaluating patients, ordering tests, diagnosing, prescribing medications and assisting in surgery.
